Good quality plants

I ordered some geranium plugs and they arrived in pretty good shape. I was a bit worried about ordering live plants online, but they were packaged well. Took about 4 days to get here after dispatch, which isn't too bad. I got them potted up and they're doing well in the garden. Definitely happy with how they turned out.

Great value on bulbs

I was looking for some daffodil bulbs for the fall planting season and stumbled upon South Eastern Horticultural. They had a multi-buy deal on the bulbs I wanted, which saved me a decent amount compared to other places I checked. The delivery cost was a bit of a bummer, but overall, with the discount, it felt like a good buy. The bulbs looked healthy when they arrived, and I'm hopeful for a nice display next spring. For the price, I think it was worth it.

My garden looks amazing

I absolutely loved the fuchsia plugs I got from here! They arrived so quickly and were super healthy. I put them in my hanging baskets and they're already starting to bloom like crazy. I'm so happy with how vibrant they are, they really made my patio pop this year. I'm already planning my next order for some perennial plugs. I will totally tell all my gardening friends about this place, the quality is just fantastic!

Thinking of doing a big order, like over 75 quid. Does that still get me free shipping or do I need a code for it?

A Amber 2 months ago
Nah, it's automatic. Once you hit the threshold it just applies at checkout. No code needed.

Can confirm, got a big haul of daffodil bulbs last autumn and didn't pay for delivery. It just came off the total.

Is South Eastern Horticultural any good compared to like Thompson & Morgan or J Parker's? Debating where to get my perennial plugs this year.

I've used all three and honestly, SEH is solid. Their plugs are usually a decent size for the price. T&M can sometimes be a bit hit or miss with their smaller plugs. I'd say give them a go.

They're definitely up there. Quality-wise, I've had less issues with SEH than some of the bigger names. Plus, it's nice to support a smaller outfit.

Hey has anyone ordered the plug plants from here before? Wondering how they arrive, like are they all squished or packed well?

J Julia Z. 2 months ago
Yeah, I got some fuchsias and petunias last spring. They came in pretty sturdy packaging, little plastic trays and a box, all good. Only one or two had a bit of soil spilled but plants were fine.

Mine were okay too. Not like a delicate flower shop, but for plugs, totally adequate. No major damage on my end.

Anyone know what the deal is with their returns? Like if a plant arrives dead or really sickly, can I send it back easily?

N Nick C. 2 months ago
I had an issue with some tomato plants not looking great on arrival. Contacted them with photos and they sorted a replacement pretty quick. Don't think you 'send it back' in the traditional sense, more like they resolve it for you.

Yeah, live plants are tricky. I think you're meant to get in touch right away if there's a problem. They're usually pretty good about making it right from what I've heard.
